On July 28th, 2012 the world lost a great cowboy at the young age of 25. In
that short time he was one of the most accomplished ropers in the world.
He started rodeoing professionally in 2007, when he was named PRCA Rookie of the
Year. A few years later he followed it up with back to back qualifications to
the WNFR in 2010 and 2011, and was 12th in the 2012 world standings the day we
lost him.
His name was Broc Cresta.
Family, friends and sponsors got together to put on one of the best open
ropings in the country, to honor and remember him.
The roping was held at the Four Star Ranch in Cottonwood, CA, where Broc had
called home for many years. The roping is a 5 steer open with $10,000 added and
100% payback.
Proceeds from the sales of this DVD go to the Broc Cresta Memorial Roping and
the Broc Cresta Memorial Scholarship.
