After 3 full go rounds, the top ropers in the average and the winners of each of the 3 go rounds progress to the shoot-out. The shoot-out starts with 12 ropers on the first calf and narrows to 6 on the final calf. The winner on two shoot-out calves gets the big check, the title and the prestige!
