“Trippin” is the oldest event in rodeo according to most folks. Eighty-five years ago when Bob Crosby was 13 he won his first steer roping, competing with adults. Now he is honored in this prestigious roping from Roswell, New Mexico. Forty to fifty trippers go through three gull rounds with 12 getting a call back for the short go.
